The Bianconeri Name Ex- Italian National Team Boss the Experienced Gaffer

The Serie A powerhouse have chosen former Italian national team head coach Spalletti as their manager for the rest of the term.

Spalletti replaces Igor Tudor, who was let go after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio recently.

The former boss came on board in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but exited following a seven-month stint at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup under former boss Roberto Mancini.

Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland.

However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June following a loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.

Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.

In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
